• The”Repre” Bag Artist School is a place where you can learn every aspect of bag making. Our curriculum would cover wide range of needs, whether students wish to make bags as a hobby or pursue a professional career in bag design/production. Our course is designed to teach you a wide range of hands-on techniques and practical knowledge. By taking our courses, you will be able to enjoy making bags for a life-long and/or taking your skills to the next level. Both beginners and those with experience are welcome, so please feel free to contact us.

Our School is Founded by a-long Established Bag Manufacturer

• “Repre” is a bag making school founded and managed by a Japanese Bag manufacturer which is established in 1970. At our school, we will guide you through the techniques and practical knowledge based upon our experiences as a bag manufacturer. Classes are taught on a one-on-one basis, or in a small group, by skilled artisans with years of experience in the industry, and providing you the best possible learning experience. Therefore, you can acquire those skills within a relatively short period of time. You will learn how to use different types of materials, including natural materials such as cotton, chemical fibers such as nylon, and leather. With special attention given to the characteristics of each material, you will acquire the necessary skills and expertise.

Will master techniques of Making Different Types of Bags

• At Repre, you will start by learning to make your own patterns for bags. This is how we guide you through the world of professional bag making. You will work through all the steps of bag making, from pattern making, to fabric cutting, assembling, machine sewing, and attaching hardware. This will equip you with the skills to make your own bag from start to finish. By learning at Repre, you will eventually be able to customize each bag to suit your ideal style.

A Message from Our Teachers

In our classes, you will learn the basics of bag making, including pattern making and the use of a sewing machine and tools. We hope that you will thoroughly enjoy the process of bag making in our friendly learning environment. Our classes are conducted entirely in English, so fluency in Japanese is not essential. We will guide you through the process step by step, so relax and have fun!
